Easy Recipe Thursday

1/4 cup of Butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped pecans
powder sugar

Heat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat (2 to 3 minutes). Add brown sugar; mix well. Cool 10 minutes. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt; mix well. Stir in pecans. Spread batter into lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake for 22 to 27 minutes or until set. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powder sugar.
